St. Hanshaugen's corner espresso bar since the 90s — one of the rooms where Oslo's coffee culture was invented, still pulling some of its best shots.

A working roastery with a coffee bar up front — Løkka's neighborhood spot for a flat white poured by people who roasted the beans that morning.

Café and bakery inside the National Museum specialising in Norwegian buns, pastries and coffee. Run by the Lava Oslo restaurant group.
Parisian-style pâtisserie on Karl Johan — French pastries, macarons, cakes, plus an afternoon tea. Multi-location (Karl Johan flagship).

Central Oslo café for açaí bowls, smoothies, matcha and coffee — popular spot for Sentrum's stop-in crowd.

The Vika branch of Babbo Collective — Babbo's smallest, coziest location and an all-day spot. Mornings start with sourdough, open sandwiches and cinnamon rolls; the evening turns it into a chill trattoria with hand-rolled pasta and pizzettas. Same Copenhagen-feels-in-Oslo atmosphere as the original.
