What this site is
Oslo Collective is an editorial guide to Oslo. The places we publish are reviewed by people, not algorithms. We don't take comp meals or paid placements. If we ever do, we'll mark it clearly.
Using the site
You can read everything anonymously. Saving places to a shortlist requires a free account through Clerk. You agree not to abuse the service — automated scraping, attempting to disrupt the site, or submitting content you don't have rights to are not okay.
Content rights
Editorial copy and original photos on this site are © Oslo Collective. You may quote short excerpts with attribution and a link. Place information (addresses, opening hours, etc.) is factual and unowned. If you submit content (photos, place suggestions), you grant us a non-exclusive licence to publish it on this site, crediting you when you've provided a name.
Accuracy
We try to keep opening hours, addresses, and details current, but small businesses change schedules without notice. Always double-check before you go — especially during holidays. We aren't liable for a closed kitchen at the wrong time.
Liability
The site is provided as-is. We do our best to keep it running and secure, but we can't guarantee 100% uptime or that nothing ever goes wrong. To the fullest extent permitted by Norwegian law, our liability is limited to what you paid for the service (which is currently nothing).
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the home page or by email if you're a newsletter subscriber.
Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Norwegian law. Disputes go through the courts of Oslo. See also our privacy policy.
