Marani brings Georgian cooking to Sørenga, with a menu built around khinkali dumplings, cheese-filled khachapuri and dishes from the charcoal grill. There are vegetable dishes alongside meat and fish, and larger groups can choose a supra sharing menu. The wine list gives Georgian wines a place at the table too. It is a useful choice for a dinner where several dishes can be passed around, with the waterfront nearby for a walk before or after your meal. The kitchen closes at 22:00.

Élan is Magnat Kaffehus’s flagship coffee bar in Kirkegata, where the brewing counter and the room itself are part of the visit. The bar serves espresso and filter coffee, with space to pause over the cup rather than only take it away. Its interiors include a sound installation by Jonas von der Fehr, designed as part of the architecture. The central address makes it a convenient coffee stop while exploring Kvadraturen. It opens on weekdays and Saturdays, with Sunday listed as closed.
