Natural wine with a kitchen that outcooks most restaurants, Tøyen's proof that a wine bar can be both serious and loose at the same time.

Botanisk hage is the free outdoor botanical garden at Tøyen, within the Natural History Museum grounds. Four gates lead into paths, themed planting areas and trees from around the world. The museum lists the garden open daily from 07:00 to 17:00; museum exhibitions have their own tickets and hours. Most of the garden is accessible by wheelchair, although some paths are steep or narrow, so consult the museum’s accessibility map. Picnics belong on the designated picnic lawn or in Hagehuset. Cycling and ordinary pets are not allowed inside; accredited guide and service dogs are permitted. Palmehuset and Victoriahuset are temporarily closed to ordinary visits, so plan around the outdoor garden.

Norway's largest natural history collection, dinosaur skeletons, meteorites and the Klimahuset climate house, set inside the Botanical Garden at Tøyen. The Natural History Museum at Tøyen covers billions of years of natural history through indoor exhibitions and the adjoining Botanical Garden. The museum currently lists indoor galleries 10:00–17:00 Tuesday–Sunday and the garden 07:00–17:00; the greenhouses are temporarily closed.
