Åpent Bakeri runs the daytime café at Tranen, on the corner by Alexander Kiellands plass. The counter offers bread, pastries and coffee, while the kitchen menu adds egg dishes, sandwiches, salads and pancakes. It works for an early coffee stop or a longer breakfast, with several vegetarian options on the food menu. The bakery café closes at 16:00; Lofthus Samvirkelag takes over with pizza in the evening. Treat those as two different visits when planning your meal, as the menus and service hours change.
