SEASONALStudio Markblomst’s tulip picking at Linderud gård is a seasonal flower-growing event, where visitors select and cut stems to take home. The museum’s 2026 programme offered two sessions in May, and children were welcome to join. Visitors could bring scissors and a bag, with tools also available to borrow. Those sessions have now finished: this listing is an idea for the tulip season, rather than an activity currently available every week. Check the organiser’s next announcement before travelling to the farm.

Grefsenkollen’s fire-pit experience is a booked outdoor meal above the city, with a private fire pit for a two-hour session. The published menu includes venison stew, apple gløgg, stick bread and marshmallows, and the operator lists a covered alternative with heaters for poor weather. Each pit accommodates around eight to ten people, with minimum booking sizes depending on the day. This is a seasonal activity rather than a drop-in café service. Check the booking calendar for the next available session and dress for an evening outdoors.
