Painting ceramics is a great way to unleash some creativity without feeling overwhelmed. At Creative Collective, you pick your piece from a selection of ceramic items priced individually. You will get a quick intro to the paints and techniques before diving in. Once you are done, your piece is glazed and fired, ready for pickup a couple of weeks later. They also have a cozy cafe setup on site where you can grab a coffee and a pastry while you paint. Alongside standard drop in painting, they host special events like baby sessions and dog friendly evenings for making paw prints on ceramics. Spaces fill up fast, so booking in advance is highly recommended.

Making your own jewelry is both fun and rewarding. At STØP, you can spend an evening casting a custom pewter ring completely from scratch. The workshop lasts around four hours and starts at 1,450 NOK, which covers all materials, tools, and your finished piece. The process itself is surprisingly approachable. You start by carving a wax ring into your chosen design, which is then pressed into sand to create a mold for the molten pewter. Most of the time is spent filing, sanding, and polishing. It is a relaxed, almost meditative task set in a small workshop with great music and a warm vibe. No prior experience is needed, and you get to walk away with a finished ring in a box the very same night.
