This listing covers the Oslo concept, so choose your branch before booking or travelling. The previous Karl Johans gate address is not listed on the current official site. Hanami is located right on the waterfront at Tjuvholmen and offers a properly boujee experience that I think is completely worth the visit. The service sets the tone right away, just having them take your coat at the door and hang it up for you sets the standard for the rest of the evening. The menu combines a Japanese robata grill, izakaya, and sushi, featuring everything from fresh sashimi and robata-grilled skewers to wagyu beef, glazed black cod, and dim sum. You can order à la carte or choose set tasting menus ranging from around 800 to 1300 NOK per person. With fjord views, solid cocktails, and outdoor seating in the summer, it is a spot I truly recommend when you want to make a night of it.
