SEASONALRight in the heart of Oslo, nestled between Nationaltheatret and the Parliament, you will find the Spikersuppa skating rink. The rink opens for winter skating when the ice and weather conditions allow. This is a wonderfully cozy winter activity that brings out the best seasonal atmosphere as soon as the cold weather hits the city. Access to the ice rink is completely free for everyone if you bring your own skates. If you do not have gear, you can rent a pair at the pavilion next to the ice for 200 NOK. The pavilion also houses a kiosk offering hot drinks and snacks whenever you need a quick break to warm up. There is usually a lively crowd and great energy around the ice, especially during the holiday season when the lights are lit. It is the ideal activity whether you are planning a winter date night, catching up with friends, or bringing the little ones along for some festive fun.
