Right in the heart of Oslo, nestled between Nationaltheatret and the Parliament, you will find the Spikersuppa skating rink. The rink opens for winter skating when the ice and weather conditions allow. This is a wonderfully cozy winter activity that brings out the best seasonal atmosphere as soon as the cold weather hits the city. Jul i Vinterland fills Spikersuppa from 7 November 2026 to 3 January 2027; the rink opens separately on 28 November at 17:00.
Sentrum · Spikersuppa, Karl Johans gate, 0159 Oslo

Access to the ice rink is free. Bring your own skates, or rent a pair behind the Ferris wheel Reisen til Julestjernen. Check the current rental price with the operator.
There is usually a lively crowd and great energy around the ice, especially during the holiday season when the lights are lit. It is the ideal activity whether you are planning a winter date night, catching up with friends, or bringing the little ones along for some festive fun.
